The suits of Blackjack cards do not have any impact on the game. The cards are valued as follows: an Ace can count as either one point or 11 points. Cards from 2 through 2 are counted for their face value. 10's, J's, Q's and K's are all worth 10 points.

Additional Blackjack features include 'splitting,' 'doubling down' and 'insurance.'
If you happen to hold a hand with two cards of equal value, like JJ or 66, you are allowed to split them. The player who decides to split his hand will receive an additional card for each hand, but will also be required to place a bet of the same value as the original one each time he splits. If you happen to receive an Ace and a face-card in a split hand, it is not considered Blackjack.

You are allowed to place an extra bet, not exceeding the original one, if your first two cards total 9, 10 or 11 (Aces not included). You will receive one additional card when doubling. The best time to double is when you believe that the third card will help you beat the dealer.

If the first Blackjack card dealt to the dealer happens to be an Ace, you will be offered 'insurance' against the dealer making a natural (i.e. 21). If you decide to get the insurance, you'd be required to place an amount equal to half your original bet separately on the table. If the dealer does ultimately have Blackjack, you would be paid 2:1 on your insurance.
