The game of Blackjack boasts a very long and interesting history. Over the years of its existence, the game has traveled to different countries around the globe and now enjoys popularity virtually everywhere. Today, there are numerous challenging Blackjack variations. One of these variations is Blackjack Switch. This relatively new Blackjack game has a lot in common with the traditional style of play. However, it also boasts several differences.
Actually, Blackjack Switch is a dream-come-true for cheaters. This is because the game's rules allow players to do what is usually considered a classic cheating move in the traditional game variant, switching cards between two hands. In Blackjack Switch, the player receives two hands and is allowed to switch the second card dealt to each hand. Players are required to make two bets of same size. Except being dealt two hands, as we have already mentioned, the rules are more or less the same as in standard Blackjack.
The object of Blackjack Switch is for the total of the player's cards in either hand to be as close to 21 as possible, without exceeding this number. Six to eight decks are used and the cards are dealt face-up. Because the ability to switch cards provides Blackjack Switch players with a greater chance of hitting Blackjack, this new game variant features a number of additional rules that are designed to compensate the dealer. For instance, hitting Blackjack pays 1/1 instead of 3/2.
An exception from the conventional Blackjack is the fact that the dealer always hits soft 17. This means that he always draws one additional card when he happens to hold 17 with an Ace standing for 11. Another interesting exception is that, when the dealer gets a card total of 22, all player bets are 'pushed,' expect for the blackjacks. Additionally, under Blackjack Switch rules, players may double on any two cards after a split.
Select a chip of desired value. Then, click on a bet area to increase your bet by the chip amount. To increase your bet, just click on the bet area.
There are two types of bet areas: normal and Super Match bet. Normal bet area is any of the two larger areas, Super Match bet area is the small area. Keep in mind that by clicking on the normal bet area, you place two bets of equal value for each of your hands.
After placing your bets, click the Deal button.
Use the Hit, Stand, Double, Split, Insurance and Switch buttons when necessary.
Please remember that after using Hit, Split, Double or Insurance buttons, you will no longer be allowed to Switch. Therefore, you must make the switch before the betting round is launched.
Despite being played under almost the same rules as traditional Blackjack, Blackjack Switch brings a new dimension to the game. The card switching rule offers players a greater influence on the game outcome. This makes Blackjack Switch even more exciting than ever!
